Hardship Fund

At YesTax, we know how lucky we are to be a profitable business, however, we believe that with success comes a great deal of responsibility. As you will know, we donate 2.5% of our fees to a charity where we make direct contributions to vulnerable children. Whilst we are continuing to fund a safe house for sexually abused children in Nepal, amongst a variety of donations, we also offer funding in the form of small grants during times of financial hardship. The support available includes food and clothing vouchers, beds and bedding, as well as essential home appliances including cookers, fridge freezers and washing machines.

In September, we delivered a brand new oven to a vulnerable family of five after theirs broke. The youngest has a high level of special educational needs and the family are struggling with the current cost of living crisis, finding it difficult to manage their bills while also providing new winter coats and shoes for the children. Following the oven break, the parents were left trying to manage with just a microwave to provide meals.

The donation has made such a difference to the family, alleviating the pressures faced and enabling the parents to provide the children with hot food as we approach winter.

Hardship funds are provided via recognised social organisations such as housing associations, social services, safeguarding offices at schools and charities registered with the Charity Commission, who are acting on behalf of vulnerable children. Funding requests can be made here.
